A FAIR NEXT CHAPTER
Phone condition and battery health: quote guide
Describe the handset you actually have. Cosmetic wear, battery health and original parts are different checks, and all affect whether a current offer is available.
Good condition
Light scratches only, with no dents, cracks or chips. The screen, cameras and buttons work; parts are original and there are no warning messages. Choose this when it accurately reflects your handset, even if the phone was originally sold at a higher grade.
Excellent condition
Very clean cosmetic condition with original parts and full functionality. Some published Excellent bands require the complete box and manual. The quote tool states that requirement; do not claim the box is included if it is missing.
Fair condition
More visible cosmetic wear still needs a working handset with original parts. Cracked glass, damaged controls, non-original parts or warning messages are not quietly treated as ordinary wear. The quote tool’s current criteria determine eligibility.
Battery health is not charge level
On iPhone, enter the maximum-capacity figure from Battery Health. On Samsung, use a measured health percentage; a charged phone showing 90% is not evidence of 90% battery health. If no reliable measurement is available, contact us.
Faults and locks
PhoneFairAU currently gives no automatic cash offer for faulty or non-original devices. Network-locked phones and inaccessible activation/account locks are not accepted. Keep accessible accounts in place if needed for a safe transfer, then remove them before final purchase.
Inspection is the final check
We check the actual phone and explain any revision. You decide whether to proceed. Do not select a better condition or battery band unless it accurately describes your device.
